Hearts do change
People walk away.
Words are but wind
And promises of forever,
Soon fade away.
Ephemeral, our existence.
Our feelings, thoughts
Much the same.
So why waste breath
On words talking of forever
That, with memory, fade.
False hope cuts deeper
Than any blade.
The starting prompt for this one was a quote from one of the SOIAF books (read Game of Thrones) which I liked a lot. The rest if rather unrelated however. :P
Anyway, left it till here as a work-in-progress, but now I feel it just seems complete till here itself. BUT opinions are like brains, everyone has one (but whether it works or not is a different question altogether) and hence I leave the comments box open for you to post your opinions in.
